hai Yoga Massage (also known as Thai Yoga Therapy or simply Thai Massage) is a healing art that can be traced back 2,500 years to India and the spread of Buddhism.
Thai Yoga Massage is more than relaxation,
with roots in Ayurveda, it is a whole body
therapy - an integrative approach to
healing the body, mind and spirit.
The yoga philosophy on which Thai Yoga
Massage is based believes there are 72,000
Sen (energy) lines that run through our
bodies. When these lines become blocked it
can lead to numerous ailments. The gentle
stretching, massaging and opening of the
body that occurs during a Thai Yoga
Massage treatment promotes the free flow
of blocked energy or prana.
This enhanced energy flow (movement of
prana) in the body helps to alleviate
aliments such as lower back pain, arthritis,
headaches, digestive issues, menstral
problems and stress-related issues.

Thai Yoga Massage is the perfect blend of healing bodywork and movement therapy. This specialized form of Thai massage is performed on a cushioned mat on the floor and no oil is used.
As you relax and connect with your breath and body I will guide you through a series of yoga postures and gentle stretching while using my hands, thumbs, and at times, knees and feet along the body's "sen" (energy lines) and pressure points.
This deeply restorative bodywork relieves muscular tension, increases circulation, balances the body and unblocks areas of restricted energy allowing the body to flow and balance itself the body by unblocking and dispersing energy.
